Sunrise Sober Living is committed to providing safe, structured, and supportive housing for individuals on their recovery journey. As a nonprofit organization, our mission is to create an environment where residents can thrive in sobriety and rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.

Level II: Monitored Support in Recovery Housing

Our Level II Monitored Support housing offers a structured and stable living environment designed for individuals dedicated to maintaining their recovery. This level of care provides accountability, peer support, and essential resources to help residents transition successfully into independent living.

Administration

  • Supervised by a house manager or senior resident

  • Clearly defined policies and procedures to ensure structure and accountability

At a Glance

  • House rules that create a stable and organized living environment

  • Peer-run groups to encourage community support and accountability

  • Regular drug screenings to maintain a safe, substance-free home

  • Mandatory house meetings to foster communication and connection

  • Active participation in self-help programs or treatment services to support long-term recovery

Residence

  • Primarily single-family homes, offering a comfortable, home-like atmosphere

  • May also include apartments or other residential settings, depending on availability

Staffing

  • At least one staff member providing guidance and oversight

This level of support is ideal for individuals who are ready for more independence while still benefiting from structured recovery housing and a strong peer support network.

Connection to Additional Resources

Access to outpatient treatment, counseling, and long-term housing support, with collaboration from probation, drug courts, and social services.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Maintain a commitment to sobriety.

  • Have at least 7 days of sobriety before moving in.

  • Agree to and follow all house rules and guidelines.

  • Participate in mandatory drug screenings as required.

  • Attend house meetings and actively engage in the community.

  • Be involved in a self-help program (e.g., AA, NA), recovery program, or treatment services to support long-term sobriety.

  • Be able to pay rent according to the following structure:

    • No treatment programming: $125 per week

    • Outpatient (OP) treatment with Sunrise Recovery: $100 per week

    • Intensive Outpatient (IOP) with Sunrise Recovery: $75 per week
